Nobody asks Jack Beck where he gets the guns, they just pay the man. Well, everyone but the gang of goons that intercepts his next delivery. They jump Beck, beat him within an inch of his life, and take his truck — including the wares inside. Just after the attack Beck stumbles into a bar, grabs the nearest gumshoe, and offers them $300 to get his goods back before he passes out.
