We love seeing what our incredibly talented SWAG creators are doing with Savage Worlds and Adventures of El Cuervo Rojo from Jakub Osiejewski is definitely worth a look!
Alejandro Almeida—thief, assassin, half-blood, and true hero—spent his life protecting the people of San Sebastián as the masked vigilante, El Cuervo Rojo. Across a dozen books, he battled undead pirates, corrupt soldiers, terrifying monsters, fascists, and nameless cosmic horrors. He died, returned, and died again.
Now, he’s gone for good.
But the fight doesn’t end with him. He left behind a legendary legacy—and a mountain of unfinished business.
Adventures of El Cuervo Rojo is a campaign setting that blends classic pulp “masked hero” swashbuckling with dark cosmic horror. Set in the fictional world of Terra on the continent of Esplanada, this book lets you join the Hijos del Cuervo—the Children of the Raven. You didn’t inherit his iconic mask; you inherited his purpose: to defend those who cannot defend themselves.
Inside this 222-page PDF, you’ll find:
- The Continent of Esplanada: Explore highly detailed locations, from the rebellious pueblo of San Sebastián and the colonial capital of San Marco, to the lawless pirate haven of Port Libre and the haunted island of Primavera.
- Elite Fencing Schools: Master unique combat styles, including the agile Floreo style, the mathematically precise Destreza, or the devastating Lengyan Cross Saber.
- Dynamic Rules for Masks: A mask is far more than a simple disguise; it is a living alter ego. While it grants incredible power through the Mask Die, wearing it comes with a cost. Over time, the mask will begin to hijack your story, forcing you into dangerous impulses you would never choose on your own.
The Red Raven is dead. His mantle is gone. Now, the story is yours! 🤺
