Once again, it’s almost time for Gen Con (The Best Four Days in Gaming™), and as always, Savage Worlds, Deadlands, and Doomtown will all be well-represented!
If you’re planning on attending, keep your eyes out for a number of familiar Pinnacle and Pine Box personnel, participate in several Savage Worlds events (there are over 80 on the schedule), sit in on our “don’t miss” Pinnacle Panel, and spend your bucks at the booths of some notable exhibitors including Studio 2 Publishing.
Saturday evening at 5pm, grab yourself a FREE ticket and join us for the Pinnacle Panel in the Tennessee room inside the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown where you’ll get the inside scoop about what’s coming next for PEG!
Be on the lookout for a few PEG luminaries including Mike Barbeau, Clint Black, John-Matthew DeFoggi, Darrell Hayhurst, Caden Hensley, Ronan Hensley, Simon Lucas, Tracy Sizemore, and Scott Woodard. Find them sitting on the aforementioned panel or just enjoying the festivities along with the rest of ya’!
Between games and events, make your way into the Exhibit Hall to visit Studio 2 Publishing in booths #1929 and #2029 where you’ll find all the latest Savage Worlds box sets, core rulebooks, supplements, and accessories including dice, Bennies, miniatures, and more!
Doomtown fans will find plenty of excitement as Pine Box Entertainment celebrates a decade at Gen Con with a number of demos, special events, and social gatherings.
No matter if you’re a long-time fan of Doomtown or a curious tenderfoot looking to check out their upcoming Deadlands: Legends of the Weird West fully cooperative, expandable card game, head over to Events Hall B, booth #2934 to meet the team and settle in for a demo! Additional events include the Wednesday evening PBE Social, the Doomtown Dodge City Multiplayer Round-Up, Doomtown Weird West Dodge City Marshal Major Storyline Round-Up, and Doomtown O’s Casual Call Out: Saturday Night Social. For all the deets, including specific locations and times, visit Pine Box Entertainment today!
Lastly, Legacy Game Tables has set up a livestreamed hour of remembrance for Jodi Black. This “Crit Fail Queen Hour” will run from 8pm to 9pm on the GenConStudio Twitch channel on Friday, July 31st. The amazing Rem Alternis will host the hour, joined by a handful of guests around the Streamer Game Table. Space is very limited, but we want to share stories from as many people as possible.
Please submit your best Jodi story via this Google form. Even if we don’t have time to read it on the air, all of the stories will be printed and posted for viewing at Legacy Game Tables, booth #2471 in the Exhibit Hall. What’s a “best Jodi story?” Whatever you define it as. It could be funny, sweet, nostalgic, or anything particularly memorable. Jodi influenced us all in a lot of different and equally wonderful ways.
Safe travels, amigos! We look forward to seeing you at Gen Con 2026!
