And just like that, despite the flooding and repeated tornado warnings we all experienced on Saturday, Gen Con 2026 has officially sailed off into the sunset and Pinnacle Entertainment Group was there celebrating “the Best Four Days in Gaming™!” 🎲
If you were able to attend this year’s convention, then you already know what a “Fast, Furious, and FUN“ time it was for fans of Savage Worlds!
Not only were there over 80 sold out Savage Worlds events on the convention schedule, our Saturday Pinnacle Panel drew a large and engaged group of fans! During the panel, Shane Hensley, Simon Lucas, Darrell Hayhurst, Clint Black, and Scott Woodard discussed a number of projects including our imminent Deadlands Kickstarter that brings the legendary Maze to Savage Worlds Adventure Edition with an all-new campaign collection! This launches next Tuesday (August 11th), so be sure to sign up today to be notified the moment we begin boarding the legendary Maze Queen!
There was also discussion of Kingmaker, the next epic adventure path for Pathfinder® for Savage Worlds as well as Final Reckoning for Deadlands: Lost Colony, a Rifts® for Savage Worlds sourcebook covering Australia, China, and Japan, a deluxe, fully-updated and slipcased collection of our four classic Reckoner campaigns for Deadlands (The Flood, The Last Sons, Stone and a Hard Place, and Good Intentions), and an adventure for Deadlands Dark Ages tentatively titled… DAGON! 🐟

And as we’re all celebrating the 30th anniversary of Deadlands this year (the world first got their mitts on copies at Gen Con ’96, by the way), there was also talk of our upcoming face-to-face hoedown in Phoenix, Arizona! As I write this, there are just 22 tickets left for this incredible event, so if you’d like to join us for some “Deadlands in the Desert,” you can find all the deets here and purchase your tickets today! Event signups are set to open this Thursday, August 6th beginning at 1 p.m. Eastern!
Additionally, our pals with Pine Box Entertainment were also on hand running Doomtown tourneys and demos of their upcoming cooperative and expandable card game, Deadlands: Legends of the Weird West. They also threw a couple fun offsite gatherings including one where a cake was cut in celebration of their remarkable 10th anniversary. Congrats to them!
As always, the sprawling, centrally-located Studio 2 Publishing area was where you could find any and all Savage Worlds goodies during the show (including a few new releases from some of our Ace licensees). We hear that they sold out of Rifts® for Savage Worlds: Europa during the show, so we hope everyone who grabbed a copy there enjoys the absolute HECK out of it!
We hope to see you ALL back in Indianapolis in 2027!
