GAMA Members: Vote Christopher Landauer for Publisher Board Representative

For all those active GAMA (Game Manufacturers Association) game creators, publishers, and industry experts among us, our very own Christopher Landauer (Director of Marketing) is running for Publisher Board Representative and voting begins this Thursday, Match 19th!

Take it away, Chris:

“I’m honored to be running for a Publisher seat on the GAMA Board of Directors to complete the term vacated by the amazing Jodi Black. Jodi’s leadership and positive vision for the organization have inspired me to pursue thoughtful, incremental improvements in our industry and to help continue the work she has begun.

“For the past decade I’ve worked in tabletop publishing with Pinnacle Entertainment Group, where I currently serve as Director of Operations and Marketing. In that role I help oversee crowdfunding, community and events, global manufacturing, freight, fulfillment, and retail distribution for major tabletop properties including Savage Worlds and Deadlands.

“Across 18 crowdfunding campaigns we’ve raised more than $3 million from over 20,000 backers, while also expanding direct-to-consumer sales, distribution, and digital channels. My work sits at the intersection of publishers, retailers, distributors, crowdfunding platforms, and the player community, which gives me a broad perspective on how our industry functions day to day.

“Before joining Pinnacle I helped build grassroots gaming communities like the Rocky Mountain Savages and coordinated RPG programming for conventions such as GenghisCon and Tacticon. Those experiences shaped my belief that community is the foundation of this industry.

“I strongly support GAMA’s mission of tabletop advocacy, professional education, practical toolkits and support programs, stronger networking across the industry, and recognizing excellence among our peers. At the same time, I’m committed to helping address the areas where we can improve: strengthening professionalism, solving problems collaboratively, and ensuring the tabletop industry continues to grow.

“Most importantly, I believe we should never lose sight of the reason this industry exists in the first place: the joy games bring to people and the communities they create.

“If you’re in the Publishing membership group, I welcome your support and vote when the ballots open.”

If you are a voting member of GAMA, we hope you will consider casting your vote for Christopher Landauer for Publisher Board Representative!

Please note that electronic ballots will be emailed this Thursday, March 19th to the designated representative for companies in your membership group. Voting will close one week later on March 25th.
