Deadlands 30th Anniversary Event GM Profile — Karl Keesler

For those curious about our upcoming Deadlands 30th Anniversary Celebration (get your tickets now), YES,  there will be several Deadlands and other Savage Worlds games being run during the event, and among the cast of characters stepping behind their GM screens, you’ll find a whole posse of experienced game industry pros eager to guide you through their wildest worlds!

While our current crowdfunding campaign presses on, we thought we’d take a little time out to highlight a few of those GMs and Marshals you can expect to see around the tables later this year.

This week, we are excited to announce that the one and only Karl Keesler will also be joining us in October!

Karl is the Art Director and a Writer with Ace licensee, Dog House Rules, publisher of Trailer Park Shark Attack!, Bad Night in El Rey, and the recently-funded Occult City.

Karl has taken his love for gaming and graphic design and has worked with companies including Pinnacle for which he did the Trade Dress for Savage Worlds Adventure Edition. He was also the lead Graphic Designer for Pathfinder® for Savage Worlds!

Over the past few years, Karl has created and run several unique Savage Worlds games such as his League of Extraordinary Gentlemen adventure series, Goonies meets the Ghostbusters, and Mystery Men to name a few. He likes to make his games eye-catching and exciting with one-of-a-kind miniatures, custom terrain, specially designed character sheets, and original Bennies.

When he isn’t working on his next art project, gaming, or creating props he’s off enjoying life in sunny South Florida with his wife Kathy.

Find Karl running games, playing games, and having a great time with the rest of you at the Deadlands 30th Anniversary Celebration in Arizona later this year.
