During the panel, Shane Hensley, Simon Lucas, Darrell Hayhurst, Clint Black, and Scott Woodard discussed a number of projects including our imminent Deadlands Kickstarter that brings the legendary Maze to Savage Worlds Adventure Edition with an all-new campaign collection! A few days ago, our own Shane Hensley took to Facebook and posted the following in Aaron’s memory:

It seems the news is public now that our Art Director, partner, and good friend of over 20 years, Aaron Acevedo, passed last Saturday. He was surrounded by his family in his final moments and went easily after his long suffering.

We already miss his calm guidance, artful touch, and true and never wavering friendship.

All our love to Aaron’s parents. You raised a wonderful human being. Aaron especially loved his mother’s food and talking about comics with his dad… we discussed it often. I don’t know his other brothers or sister, but Ben Acevedo was by Aaron’s side every step of the way, going above and beyond to make him comfortable and keep Sigil Entertainment moving forward.

Our little company has lost two members of our “family” this year with our beloved Jodi Black leaving us in May. It’s been hard and we’re sad but we’re carrying on… not just as they would want us to but in both cases literally told us to… trying our best to bring face to face, social fun to the world, creating what we hope are engaging, immersive worlds that will last long after we are gone, and treating our little community like family.

Live every day, friends. And think of Jodi the next time you Crit Fail and embrace it… and Aaron the next time you look at a piece of art that inspires you and makes you want to dive into some amazing world.

Rest in peace, Aaron. Love you, buddy and am so glad I got to work with you for over two decades.

Watch your inbox for an email titled “Your Pinnacle Entertainment Group content” coming from “deliveries@skypilotapp.com” informing you of the move and please be patient as it may take a few days for your files to process.

That email will contain a blue “Access Content” button. This button is completely safe to click and it will take you directly to Your Library over on our site.

In Your Library, you’ll find ALL the PDF products included in this migration order: all of the PDFs previously associated with your account on the old PEG store.

If you don’t already have an account on the new site, this migration process will automatically create one for you.

Accessing Your Digital Library in the Future

After you’ve completed the initial migration process, accessing your files is easy:

1. Visit shop.peginc.com
2. Click the Account icon (the person silhouette) in the upper-right corner.
3. Log into your account.
4. From your Account Dashboard, click the blue “Access Digital Content” button at the top of the page.

This will take you directly to Your Library, where your digital purchases are stored.

This coming weekend, May 29th through the 31st, ChupacabraCon descends once again on San Marcos, Texas featuring over three dozen Savage Worlds games, an official Pinnacle Entertainment Group booth in the vendor hall, and a number of familiar names around these parts including John-Matthew DeFoggi, Caden Hensley, Darrell Hayhurst, Ed Wetterman, Karl Keesler, Brian Reeves, and Sean Tait Bircher.

Finally, for those making their way to Columbus, Ohio in a few weeks for the Origins Game Fair (June 17-21) we are excited to announce that Savage Worlds has been selected as part of this year’s Game Based Education & Therapy Conference programming! The Game Based Education & Therapy Conference brings together educators, therapists, librarians, researchers, advocates, and tabletop professionals who are passionate about the positive impact games can have both inside and outside the classroom or clinical environment. This creates a unique opportunity to put impactful games directly in front of professionals actively using tabletop experiences in meaningful ways.
